Advait:
Math Games Day was a fun, competitive day for a few selected Year 6s. On a small bus, they went to Kew. There were 2 groups, Group 1’s name was The Skittles. This was the group with Ave, Donesha, Kartikay and Tiara. Then there was Group 2, Maths Pizza Parts with Advait, Dhanvi, Zaid and Anika. The first session/challenge was sort of like a quiz that our team had to work together to complete. All the teams got a booklet with all the questions in them, and we had thirty minutes to work together to solve the challenges which were a lot of fun.
Dhanvi:
Year 6 Math Games Day was an awesome experience filled with determination and teamwork. In a vibrant world of maths, my team consisted of Anika, Zaid, Advait and I. We tackled all the hard questions, zoomed through the puzzles and after a whole day of competing and showing great sportsmanship our ‘The Maths Pizza Parts’ team secured the spots in top 10. From that day we realised that maths is just not a boring subject but a fun adventure!
